We've dangled from cherry pickers over open air, smoked cigarettes on set when we couldn't get a hazer, gone underwater for the shot, and photographed 34 people in two days flat - all while making it look effortless.

The consensus, if there is one, is that a good idea is better once it’s slightly bad. We argue about film versus digital (but agree the lens is everything) and believe the best shots happen somewhere between instinct and accident.

We travel constantly, eat well, overthink everything, and will risk a little danger for the perfect frame.
