PICTUREKID

PICTUREKID is an agency representing artists who talk about light like it’s a religion and treat martinis like creative fuel.

They’ve hung off buildings in Times Square, chased the sun across the Tunisian desert, and built film labs on sound stages -all while making it look effortless.

The consensus, if there is one, is that a good idea is better once it’s slightly bad. They argue about film versus digital (but agree the lens is everything) and believe the best shots happen somewhere between instinct and accident.

They travel constantly, eat well, overthink everything, and will risk a little danger for the perfect frame.

The result is work that’s cinematic, a little unhinged, and entirely alive. Proof that fascinating people really do make fascinating pictures.

WHO IS THE PICTUREKID?

Collier Grimm founded PICTUREKID on the belief that instinct is an art form - and that when you trust your eye, good things tend to follow.

Before PICTUREKID, she built her foundation in entertainment advertising and artist management, collaborating with people who shared her appetite for experimentation and imperfection. Starting her own company was a risk, but she’s never been interested in doing what’s expected.

A student of old Hollywood and a believer in the comeback, Grimm keeps portraits of its icons in her office and still prefers her martinis at Musso & Frank. She has a dry sense of humor, an intuition people trust, and she runs her business in the spirit of her idols: intentional, creatively focused, and guided by a belief in her cast.
